DISCLAMIER- this whole blog is based on my opinion and data collected through various sources, if you disagree with my point it is totally okay!, i just want to aware citizen.
Many of you would be aware of this reality show name "big boss." it is being trendy these days which is being telecast on the Ott channel and somehow it is become peer pressure to watch these shows just to blindly follow the GENZ TREND but are these shows are really worth to watch? my answer would be no.WHY? you will ask me so here I am going to tell you how these shows are manipulating the minds and the emotions of the people in the best possible way.
the main problem of this show is normalizing manipulating, backbiting and the sadism in the name of giving entertainment even Tho knowing very well that their highest view ship mostly come from teenagers and whatever these teens saw, it mostly going to affect their mental health and knowledge about the society. imagine seeing fights and people gossiping about each other 24/7 in your phone. Does it really going to train your mind? this show was inspired by the western show name called "big brother" and it is always the peer pressure or trend for the Indian producers to copy the show like them in order to get TRP.
in India, teenagers are always fond of idol worshiping which can be seen in various social media accounts which give motivation to these producers to create the show like this because they know fans will probably support their favs and give the vote and views to them. I was casually scrolling reels in the insta and I came across one video where one people is showcase as good & kind whereas the other is consider as evil in the show. This is the biggest withdraw of this show which affect the personal life of an individual because in internet is the place where you get immune hate for doing minor thing and unfortunately these contestants have to gone through the same.
is this show scripted? well we cannot say that because recently we have seen how insta reel creator Puneet is kicked out of the show after the one day just because he doesn't follow the rules and regulations but after the weeks you can see how one contestant is kissing other contestants in front of camera. now that's not breaking rules and regulations??? and most funny part is that this show falls in category of "family friendly".
i have not covered so many points in this talk as some are really offensive to write about it and decided to keep it short
hope you y'all think about this subject and take the things seriously because this show is giving the hands to destroying the future of the youth.
